Leonard Rodgers Heilig Ii

d. January 23, 2025

Forest Hills, TX- Leonard (Lenni) Rodgers Heilig II, lovingly known as ‘Chevy’, stepped from time into Eternity on January 23, 2025 after a courageous battle with COPD. He was born August 18, 1987. Predeceased by his Grandparents (Charles & Mary Richardson), his uncle (Charles Richardson Jr), Lenni is survived by his wife (Brittany Ward), his son (Julian Heilig), his father (Leonard Heilig Sr), his mother (Yolanda Heilig), his step-mother (Tyran Heilig), 3 brothers (Lance, Tyler & Elijah), and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends. Lenni was a lifelong resident of Forest Hills. He attended and graduated from Everman High School. He established a career in logistics and staging. Lenni was an avid fan of basketball, football, gaming and producing his own music, but he found his greatest satisfaction engaging with his son Julian and the love of his life, Brittany. He honored his mother and father and was the life of every party he entered. A memorial celebration of Lenni’s life and birthday will be held in Everman, TX on August 17, 2025 at 4p. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in person or online to the Julian Heilig Trust Fund.
