Linda Hestilow

Linda Estefani Hestilow died unexpectedly in Fort Worth, Texas, February 12, 2018, after a long struggle with mental illness. A private memorial service will be held Monday February 19, 2018, at Abiding Faith Lutheran Church in Fort Worth. Born in Guatemala in 1992, Linda was adopted by the Hestilow family in 1997, the fifth and youngest child of her new family. Linda studied Spanish throughout her life to remain bilingual and enjoyed scrapbooking, playing flute, and took great joy in helping others. In 2012, she graduated from Health Careers High School in San Antonio and later studied at Tarrant County Community College with the desire to pursue social work. Linda is survived by her parents, Gary Hestilow and Kristin Grayson, brother James Robert Hestilow, and sisters Rachel, Amy and her husband Juan Carlos Vivanco, and Mary Washburn and her husband Aaron. Linda’s ashes will be laid to rest in Guatemala, a place she always wished to visit again.
