EVERMAN — Linda Ruth Bankston, 72, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012. Funeral Service: 2:30 P.M. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at South Park Baptist Church in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment: Everman Cemetery. Linda was born May 4, 1942 to Delbert “Deb” Cruze and Ruth Morris Cruze in Denton Texas. She graduated Denton High School in 1960. On June 20th of that same year she exchanged wedding vows with Jim Bankston at the Asbury Methodist Church of Denton. Linda and Jim have been members of South Park Baptist Church (which she loved dearly) for 6 years. A talented artist, Linda enjoyed painting and doing hand-crafts for her family and friends. As a devoted wife, mother, adoring grandmother and friend, she will be sorely missed! Linda has exchanged the perishable for the imperishable and was preceded in this exchange by her parents and her sister, Kay Prewitt. Survivors: Jim, her husband of 52 years; her sons— Robby and his wife Jamie, Ken and his wife Mandy; her grandchildren— Clayton and his wife Jordan, Kathryn Beckrich and her husband Jordan, Brandon, Ali and Ashley Bankston.
