Lisa Cathleen Billman passed away tragically in a car crash in Cleburne, TX on October 10th, 2025. She is survived by her husband Jim, her four children: Jordan, Caitlin, Jaden, and Calise, her daughter-in-law Bekah, her four grandsons: Judah, Eli, Phineas, and Shiloh, and her parents Ann and Les Doyle, her brothers Mark, John, and Paul, her sister-in-law Debbie Shannon, her nephew Bennett Shannon, and her in-laws Dr. James and Amy Billman. She was loved by countless other relatives and friends.
Lisa dedicated her life to serving the Lord, her family, and her country. She spent 30 years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Fort Worth, Texas, Seoul, South Korea, and Winchester, Virginia. She retired in 2025 and transitioned to a career in the private sector with Olsson.
A loyal member of Fellowship Bible Church, Lisa served on the worship team and helped teach a Sunday School class for middle school students. She also served with Fellowship Send, a team designed to train people to plant churches, and Embrace Grace, a ministry to help inspire and equip the church to love and encourage single and pregnant young women and their families.
A celebration of Lisa's life will take place on November 2nd, 2025 at 5 p.m. (eastern time) at Fellowship Bible Church. The service will also be live-streamed. Her family welcomes anyone who knew and loved Lisa. They ask if instead of wearing black, wear pink as that was Lisa's favorite color.
