Lizabeth Ann McCormack "Beth" October 28, 1968 – February 27 2026
Lizabeth Ann McCormack, known lovingly as "Beth," passed away at her home in Dallas, Texas, on February 27 2026. She was 57 years old.
Beth was born on October 28, 1968, in Oxnard, California, to Virginia Lee Kahl and raised together with Russell Claire Kahl. At the age of six, Beth moved to Le Grand, California, where she attended Le Grand Elementary and Le Grand High School, graduating in 1986. As the older sibling, Beth took on a nurturing role, helping to raise her three younger brothers and sister. She was a second mother to them, always stepping in as their personal chauffeur to school events, sports games, or to visit friends. Beth’s love and devotion to her family were boundless, and she was the constant protector of her siblings.
After high school, Beth worked for many years at MCMC Hospital in Merced, California. She later made a bold decision to move to Dallas, Texas, to attend Mortuary School. Upon completing her studies, she began working at Restland Memorial, where she met the love of her life, Deloy McCormack, while working in the crematorium. Their shared passion for their work grew into a deep, enduring love, and they were married in Lake Tahoe, California, on June 20, 2005. Together, Beth and Deloy enjoyed traveling, visiting new places, and spending time with friends and family. One of Beth’s favorite activities was collecting shot glasses from the various destinations they explored.
Beth was preceded in death by her husband, Deloy Wayne McCormack; her mother, Virginia Lee Kahl; and her brother, Douglas Alan Craft.
She is survived by her stepson Evan McCormack and his wife Chelsea; her stepdaughter Heather Winchell and her husband Joel; her stepfather Russell Kahl; her sister Cyndi Kahl; her brother Wayne Kahl and his wife Kari; her brother Christopher Kahl; six grandchildren; eight nieces; and two nephews.
She will be laid to rest at Newcastle Cemetery Hwy 251 in Newcastle, Texas 76372, 33.20677, -98.74208
Beth will be remembered for her kind heart, her fierce loyalty to her family, and the love she shared with all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.
