Lloyd George Tompkins

Lloyd George Tompkins passed away September 4, 2024 at age 82 after a lengthy brave battle with dementia. Lloyd was born in Tacoma Park, MD on March 26,1942. He was the son of the late Edna and Dale Tompkins. He is survived by wife Diane of 51 years and children Christi, Ryan, Brad and Clint, his brother Dale and late sister Barbara. He graduated from the University of MD with a degree in electrical engineering. After graduation he became a salesman selling printing presses all over the country. He later became a successful real estate broker where he was awarded one of the top ten salesmen in Tarrant County. Lloyd spent his retirement years in Flower Mound where he enjoyed outings to local parks to feed the ducks and trips to South Padre Island where he loved the beach. He was a “ Mr. Fix It””, who always enjoyed building and repairing things and helping the neighbors with projects. He was extremely loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed. A graveside service is planned for Saturday September 28 at 10:30 AM at Flower Mound cemetery on Flower Mound Road. Donations can be made at Alz.org in lieu of flowers.
