Lois Marie Bass Southerland

JOSHUA — Lois Southerland went home to be with Jesus on her 91st birthday, Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010. What a glorious birthday gift!        Funeral: 1 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Burleson. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson.        Lois was a member of First Baptist Church of Burleson for 30 years and had lived at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab Center for the past three years and 20 days. Those who knew her recognized her as a sweet Christian woman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie; her son, Larry; and all of her siblings.        Survivors: Daughter, Barbara and husband, Robbie Knight; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was also blessed with many, many nieces and nephews.
