IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lucy
Jamison

Lucy Jamison
October 20, 1933 - February 18, 2026
Lucy Jamison, 92, passed away on February 18, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of strength, resilience, creativity, and fierce love for her family.
Lucy and her beloved husband, Cecil Jamison, began their marriage very young - at an age when many might have doubted it would last. Through hard work, determination, and unwavering commitment, they built a life together that stood the test of time. Together, they raised eight children while running restaurants and managing the demands of a busy household. Lucy was the heart of it all
- steady, strong, and never afraid to speak her mind.
Though she raised her children in California, her heart always belonged to Texas. Somehow along the way, she became a true Texan at heart and deeply loved the Lone Star State. She enjoyed hitching her trailer to the back of Cecil's truck and traveling from California to Texas to share her arts and crafts with others. If her hands were moving, she was building something beautiful. She lovingly made handmade pictures and crafts for her children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great great grandchildren , pouring love into every piece.
Lucy loved to cook - and she only knew how to cook one way: in big batches. Whether there were a few people or a house full, she prepared meals as if everyone was coming over. She especially loved when Cecil would take the grandsons fishing and come home with their catch. With pride and care, she would clean and prepare the fish so everyone could gather and enjoy the meal together. Her kitchen was a place of warmth, honesty, laughter, and full plates.
She was known for being blunt and stubborn, but she loved deeply and fiercely. After the passing of her husband, Lucy continued on with remarkable strength, making sure everyone was taken care of - often checking in by telephone, keeping conversations loving but never too long. Her presence was steady, and her voice was one her family could always count on.
Lucy is survived by her living children: Deborah, Cynthia, Kimberly, Julie, and Sherry. She also leaves behind more grandchildren than anyone could easily count, each one touched by her strength, her crafts, her cooking, and her unwavering love.
Grandma Lucy now joins her beloved husband, Cecil, in heaven, along with her daughter Lori, her son Robert, and her son Michael.
She had a soft spot for birthday cards - especially when they included a little spending money - and treasured being remembered and celebrated.
Lucy lived boldly, spoke honestly, loved fiercely, and created constantly. Her legacy lives on in the strong family she built and the many lives she shaped.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
