Funeral services for Zula Beria McCrorey, 88, of Fort Worth will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, June 9, 2003, at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home Chapel of Cleburne. Burial will be in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Sunday, June 8, 2003 at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home. Mrs. McCrorey, a retired proof reader/copy editor passed away on Friday, June 6, 2003, in Fort Worth. She was born in Cleburne, Texas, October 18, 1914, the daughter of Monte Beria (Jenkins)McMahan and Martin Collins McMahan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Locke McCrorey, in 1985. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Jo Chapin and husband, Ray of Oxnard, CA. and Sue Trimm and husband, Tom, of Fort Worth; two sons, Martin McCrorey and wife, Denise, of Plano, TX. and Gary McCrorey and wife, Joyce, of Port Isabel, TX.; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren: Memorials may be made to the Presbyteerian Children’s Home in Denton, Texas.
