Lyle Ray Sours

Lyle “Ray” was born in Louisiana to his parents Lyle and Betty Sours. He is survived by his younger sister Beth McIntire and the McIntire family, and his wife Brenda Sours, and stepson Chris Osborne. Ray was a sports fantastic from an early age until his passing. While attending college at TexasChristian University, Ray played in different Fraternity organized sports, and played in band. After college, Ray was drafted into the Army as an infantryman. He served one tour of duty in Vietnam where he was a celebrated platoon Sergeant receiving 2 Purple Heart medals and an assortment of other medals. Upon returning home from war, Ray served as a United States Postal worker for 40 years. Ray was a loving father, and a great husband and provider and his passing will be greatly morned
