Emblem

Haslet - Marcus D. Brazil, 93, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025 in his home. There will be a private ceremony in the future at the National Cemetery in Dallas for family.

Marcus was born in Bastrop, Texas, to the late Trudy Brazil, on September 4, 1932. He was married to the late Doris Inell for fifty plus years. He was a man of faith, and a loving father and grandfather.

He served in the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years of service that took him to Korea, Thailand, Canada, and around the US. After his service, he worked in healthcare, both as a tech and eventually in maintenance. He spent his retirement maintaining an Youtube channel for classic country music, collecting coins, and enjoying his remaining days with family and friends. From one of his favorite songs: Let me be by myself in the evenin' breeze, And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees

Marcus made his connection with Christ following the death of his wife in 2008. A member of the Corina Drive Baptist Church in White Settlement, Texas, for years, he made many spiritual connections through reading and sermons. He gave to charity, was a powerful prayer warrior, and wanted the world to be a better place for all.

Survivors: Daughter, Lori Putallaz, daughter, Judi Jones, and daughter, Diane Bryan. Eight grandchildren (Zyda, Brandi, Amy, Mark, Justin, Rhea, Vesta, Delani, and Trase), one grandchild in spirit (Daniel), seven great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Sister-in-Law, Ruth Thomas.
