Marion Wayne Mize

Cleburne–Funeral services for Marion Wayne Mize, 78, of Cleburne will be held at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, June 3, 2004, at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home, of Cleburne, with Rev. Jerry Clements officiating. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield. Marion Wayne Mize, a switchman/brakeman for the Santa Fe Railroad, passed away on May 31, 2004 in Fort Worth. He was born in Pilot Point, Texas, January 4, 1926, the son of James and Gertie (Farmer) Mize. He married Betty Steward, March 4, 1948 in Birdville, Texas. He is survived by wife, Betty Mize, of Cleburne; sons, Stewart Mize and wife, Debra of Azle; Scott Mize and wife, Shirley, of Wise County; Ronald Mize and wife, Diane, of Richland Hills; Chuck Mize and wife, Lori, of Joshua and Clay Mize, of Cleburne; sister, Joyce Styles, of Colleyville; brother, Joe Mize, of Bowie; grandchildren, Steve, Russell, Shannon, Aaron, Josh and Emily and great-granddaughter, Daisy. Memorials may be made to the Emery J. Lilge Hospice House.
