Mary Sue Strothers

Mary Sue Strothers of Waco, Texas died Wednesday, January 21,2015. She was 74. Miss Strothers was born in Cleburne, Texas June 30,1940 to William Allen Stothers and Mary J. Jones Strothers. Sue was a devout christian and very active in Mission Baptist Church in Waco,Texas. She worked for Providence Hospital of Waco for many years as a X-Ray Tech. Sue’s heart was the size of the State she lived in and helped people of all kinds in their time of need. Sue was an avid Baylor football fan and loved to read mystery’s and western’s. When Barbara told Sue she was going to make a “girly girl” out of her, Sue laughed and said “Oh brother”, and a week or so before she passed, She got a manicure and PINK nails !! She is survived by Harold and Barbara Maxwell of Burleson, Johnny A. Maxwell if Burleson, Cindy Maxwell Moore of Fort Worth, Wanda Ellerbee of Fort Worth, and many sweet friends in Waco. Sue was loved by many and will be missed by all.
