Marylyn Phillips

Marylyn Elaine Phillips 71, Went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2024, surrounded by her family. Marylyn was born on November 7, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas to George Phillips & Mary Chestnut, and was eventually given the nickname Penny. She graduated from Paschal High School, and worked for many years including Dairy Queen, Penny’s lockouts, JE Wrecker, and Quick Sak. Penny cherished her family, she radiated love and kindness to all those who she met, and she never failed to brighten the day of those around her. Penny’s hobbies included her fish tanks, planting, shopping, cooking, spending time with others and enjoying each day that she had here on earth. Proceeded in death by her father George Phillips, mother Mary Chestnut, brother George Jr., and son in law Denton Pack. Survivors: She was blessed with 6 children, sons: Johnny and wife Julie, Louis, Jason and wife LeAnn, Jeremy and wife Kezia, daughters: Marylyn, Jewel and husband Kevin; Brother Paul and wife Barbara; 25 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
