In Loving Memory of Maurita Louise VanCampen Maurita Louise VanCampen age 67 passed away peacefully on December 7, 2023. She was born on June 4, 1956 in Hutchison, Kansas to Eugene and Juanita Sheffler. Maurita Louise VanCampen was a beloved wife, mother, grandma, sister and cherished friend. An inspiration to all who knew her. Throughout her life, Rita exemplified the true meaning of kindness, compassion, and resilience. She touched the lives of countless individuals with her warm smile, gentle spirit, and unwavering love. Maurita Louise VanCampen had an incredible ability to bring people together, making everyone feel valued and loved. Rita had many passions and pursuits throughout her life. She was an avid crafter, quilter, and baker. Rita was also known for her great love for God and actively contributed to making the world a better place by loving others they way Jesus would. But above all, Rita will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family. She was a pillar of strength, always ready to offer guidance, support, and unconditional love. Rita’s cherished moments spent with her loved ones created lifelong memories that will forever be treasured. She is survived by her husband, Lewie Heath, her sister Patty Wilgus and husband Rod Wilgus, brothers Kelley and Dave Sheffler, sons Jason VanCampen and wife Carrie, Brannon VanCampen and wife Misty, grandchildren Alex and husband Mitchel Hotopp, Garrett and wife Abby, Blake , Adam and Addison; great grandchildren Olive , Ivy and Holly. Rita’s presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will be kept alive through the stories, laughter, and love shared by all those whose lives she touched. The loss of Rita VanCampen leaves a void in our lives, but we find solace in knowing that she is now at peace, watching over us from above. May we all strive to carry forward-legacy of love, kindness, and resilience as we navigate this world without eternal peace.
