Maxwell “Max” Rhodes

d. June 16, 2023

Our beloved son and adored brother Maxwell “Max” Rhodes, age 24, passed away suddenly June 16, 2023. Max was born on May 8, 1999. On May 9, 1999, a sacred exchange took place in San Antonio, Texas where a brave and courageous birth mother placed a tiny preemie baby in the arms of the happiest new parents on planet earth. It was love at first sight and impossible to put into words the joy he brought. If you knew Max well or barely at all, you experienced his sweet nature and genuine soul. He was kind and polite to everyone he knew and even those he didn’t. We will miss his fun loving and easy-going personality. He will remain with us through all the memories and laughs. He loved spending time outdoors fishing, playing guitar and mostly being with his friends. Max attended Highland Village schools, graduated from Marcus High School and attended Dallas Brookhaven College. Max will be missed everyday by his Mother, April Rhodes; Father and Step-Mother, Mark and Jamie Rhodes; his little sister, Alex Ann Rhodes; his loving grandparents, Rex and Melanie Pitts, Virginia Rhodes, Shirley Eaton, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Max was cherished by many friends especially Drake, Stephen, Alex, Tyger, Davis and Drew. Max is loved by us all here on earth but also in heaven by his Grandfathers, Dwayne Rhodes and Roy Eaton. A celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 1st from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Gilley’s Dallas, 1135 Botham Jean Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75215 Contributions in Max’s memory may be made to Solutions of North Texas, 1516 N Ruddell St, Denton, Texas 76209 or online at www.sontx.org/donate Cremation arrangements by Lone Star Cremation.
