| With heavy hearts, we share that Meena Polavarapu (Tatineni), born October 1, 1967, peacefully passed away on June 15, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. Meena is survived by her two sons, Asuthosh and Preetish—the joys of her life—as well as her beloved sister Geeta, brother-in-law Venkat, her cherished niece and nephew, Sweety and Manu, and her beloved dog, Camper. Meena was the heart of her family—a gentle presence, a source of encouragement, and someone who always listened with love and intention. Her warmth, laughter, and grace will be missed dearly but remembered always. After obtaining her Masters in Social Work, Meena spent her life helping others in any way she could. Whether it was supporting her children or lending a hand to those in need, Meena’s quiet strength and unwavering kindness left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her.Meena was a shining light, and gave selflessly to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on earth was marked by the love she poured into others, compassion, and her ability to always see the best in people and of situations. Her passing has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives she touched. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended, but the way it was lived—fearless, selfless, and resilient—and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of crossing paths with her. As her last act of selflessness, Meena honorably donated her organs and gave the gift of life to others. In her memory and honor, we ask that you consider organ donation.
