CROWLEY — Michael George Magriplis, 58, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012. Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson. Burial: Rendon Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Community Hospice of North Texas or a charity of your choice. Michael was born on October 30, 1953 in Spokane, Washington to George Emanuel Magriplis and Mancelle Yarbrough Magriplis. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the Kitty Hawk. Michael was a huge motorcycle enthusiast. He also enjoyed being outdoors fishing, hunting and camping. Michael first and foremost loved his family and friends. He was a devoted husband, father and Papa and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Michael was preceded in death by his brother, George Magriplis; niece, Caitlin Butchcowski; and nephew, Damion White. survivors: Wife, Ginger; daughters, Cari Cook and husband, Brad, and Dana Fleming; son, Jason Pettie and wife, Heather; mother, Mancelle Magriplis; father, George Magriplis; brother, David Magriplis and wife, Colleen; sisters, Teresa Castro and husband, Jess, Anita Magriplis and Marilyn Mullins; grandchildren, Lanie Jane and Gavin Michael Flemming and Kane Michael Cook; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
