Michael “Mike” John Pollack, aged 82, passed away on October 5, 2024, in Fort Worth, TX. Born in Duquesne, Pennsylvania during World War II on November 2, 1941, Mike was known to his family as a loving husband, father, and “Tut-Tu.” To his family and friends, Mike was known for his selfless nature and dedication to helping others, particularly through his extensive volunteer work at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church and various community activities. Mike is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Mary Pollack; his children, David Anthony Pollack and Lori Michele Kircher; daughter-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Pollack; son-in-law, Brian Kircher; and his grandchildren, Tori Clements, Tristan Grady, and Zia Kircher. He also leaves behind his great-granddaughters, Willow and Ellie Clements. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Paul Pollack; stepfather, Nicholas Staffiero; and mother, Emma Staffiero. Throughout his life, Mike was an avid storyteller, a collector of business cards, and a dedicated volunteer, devoting countless hours to St. John the Apostle Catholic Church and sharing his life experiences with anyone who would listen. His legacy of kindness and community service will be remembered by all who knew him. A Funeral Mass in honor of Mike’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on November 4, 2024, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 7341 Glenview Dr, North Richland Hills, TX 76180. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Knights of Columbus, Catholic Charities, and St. Jude’s, organizations that were very dear to him.
