Mikeco Hodo

Mikeco Hodo was born on September 26, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri to Robert Hodo and Vera Barone Hodo. He lived there until he joined the navy and served 4 years. Returning from the navy, Mikeco married Carol Patezold in 1974. In 1975, Carol gave birth to her only child, Michael Patrick Hodo. In 1981 the family moved to Hurst, Texas where Mikeco worked for Jump King Trampolines. The family moved to Springtown where their son, Mike would finish school. Although the family moved to Florida and back to St. Louis, in 2007 they settled back in Springtown, where Mikeco would live until his death on January 2, 2025. He was 74 years old. Mikeco loved the outdoors, camping and fishing. He also was a lifelong fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, where, as a younger man, would attend the games. He loved his grandchildren, often playing Rummy with the family. Mikeco is preceded in death by his parents and by his wife, Carol. He is survived by his son, Mike Hodo and wife, Jerri, of Springtown, Texas; by his daughter, May Moeller of St. Louis, Missouri; and by his 6 grandchildren.
