Milton Wayne Winsett

Funeral services for Wayne Winsett, 60, of Godley, will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 4, 2003, at the First Baptist Church of Godley, with Rev. Kenneth Coleman and Rev. Lee Woodard officiating. Burial will be in Godley Cemetery. Mr. Winsett, a farmer, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at his residence in Godley, Texas. He was born January 8, 1943, in Armstrong, Oklahoma, the son of Milton and Corene (Moore) Winsett. He married Glenda Harless, March 28, 1964, in Odessa, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Winsett, of Godley; mother, Corene Winsett, also of Godley; daughters and sons-in-law, Michele and Bill Brooks, of Godley and Marlo and Steve Showalter, of Wilmington, Ohio; sister, Louise Woodard, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Gregory and Chelsea Brooks, of Godley and Christopher and Carey Showalter, of Wilmington, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, Milton B. Winsett, one sister, Jane Pearson and one brother, Gary Winsett. Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society.
