Nicholus Coates

Plano, TX – Nick passed peacefully in his sleep on February 22, 2025. He was born February 6, 1974. Predeceased by his grandmother Mary Jennings 2017 and father Robert Coates in 2020. Nick is survived by his wife Tara Coates, son Kendall, daughters Daja and Kennedee, mom Tina Jennings-Horton (Tony), sisters Unique, LaTasha and Robyn Coates, auntie Frankye and Joslyn, grandfather Floyd Jennings, nephew Tyler Ware, grandsons KJ and Marcus, close friends James, Rob and Roy, and dogs Snow and Bear. He will be missed by many other relatives and friends. Nick and Tara met bowling in 2011 became a couple in 2014 and got married in Las Vegas in August 2016. Anyone who knew my husband knows he loved his family/friends, bowling and he loved to joke a lot. Condolences for the family may be offered by leaving a comment below.
