Nick Frank Mosich

Fort Worth, TX – Nick Frank Mosich died peacefully at the age of 97 on January 5, 2023 in Fort Worth. He was born on October 1, 1925 in Selca-Brac, Yugoslavia to Toma and Slavka Mosich. Nick came to the United States as a young boy and was raised in Southern California and was a long-time resident of Palos Verdes and Simi Valley living his last few years in Haslet, TX. He enlisted in the Army of the United States in 1943 and was trained and served as a B-17 Nose Gunner until his honorable discharge in 1946. After his time in the service, he worked for the United States Postal Service at Los Angeles International Airport processing International Mail. He was an avid horse racing enthusiast and attended countless events at local tracks and many across the country even traveling to Dubai at 90-years old to experience The Dubai World Cup. He had a love for dogs. Honoring his wishes for no funeral or service, he will be cremated and his ashes spread. He lived a long and blessed life and will be missed. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary of 51 years before her passing in 2012, both parents, sisters Geraldine and Mary, and brother Tom. He is survived by his four children Patricia Jendro, Tim (Karen) Mosich of Haslet, TX; Michael (Rosa) Mosich of Santa Clarita, CA, and Rachel (Sean) Gerson of Laguna Hills, CA; his 10 grandchildren Ian Jendro, Terran Jendro, Megan Jendro, Jillian Forehand, Casey Mosich, Jared Mosich, Brooke Mosich, Sasha Mosich, Ben Gerson, and Avery Gerson and three great-grandchildren Alexis Shaw, Trevor Forehand, and Hudson Forehand; brother James (Carmella) Mosich, sister Eleanor (Phil) Harvey and countless nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation (T2T), the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) or a charity of your choice.
