Sharing with all who knew and loved him, Norman Eugene Holt passed from this life into the Hands of our Lord, and our family ready to welcome him on 5-21-24. Norman was born on 4-24-57 to James Richard and Jeanette N. Holt, the 5th of 5 children. He lived in Illinois, Michigan, Texas and West Virginia before graduating Barboursville High School in 1975. His senior year was split among 3 high schools as our parents were moving from Texas to West Virginia. His life and work journey took him to multiple places and his interests were ever evolving in terms of his career. From his travels he became a “Foodie” that lasted life-long. In High School, he was a drummer in the marching band. He graduated from WVU with a BS/BA degree in Marketing. While in college he joined a fraternity and was a “Figi”. In later years, he attained his MBA from the University of Phoenix. Norman was always generous in his time and resources with friends and family. Norman is survived by 2 sisters, Vicki Byers, with whom he was very close, and his oldest sister, Cindy Holt. A sister-in-law, Yvonne Holt, and a brother-in-law, David Duecaster also survive him. Additionally, he has 3 nephews, Seth Holt, Tyler Byers, and Brian Duecaster. Norman believed in God and Everlasting Life and tried in all the ways he could to be kind to others. 123_1.PNG
