BURLESON — Ola Pearl Timmons passed way Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, at a local hospice. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Tuesday in Cope Cemetery in Retta. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Gary and Larry Campbell, John R. Elvington, Jarred and Lance Vincent and James Bonham. Memorials: Emery J. Lilge Hospice House. Ola was born in Midlothian on Sept. 1, 1923. She was a member of the Joy-Love Sunday School Class at Crestmont Baptist Church in Burleson. Ola was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Timmons, in April 1996. They married on Nov. 9, 1940. Survivors: Daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and David Caraway, Lynda and John W. Elvington; daughter, Jane Vincent, all of Crowley; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
