Oleta Harper

Stephenville, Texas–Funeral services for Oleta Valeria Harper, 88, of Stephenville, Texas will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 6, 2003, at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home Chapel in Cleburne with Rev. Kenneth Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Open visitation will be until 8:00 PM, Friday evening at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home, Cleburne. Mrs. Harper, a homemaker, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2003, in a Stephenville Nursing Home. She was born in Bronte, Texas, January 25, 1915, the daughter of Thomas Simpson and Pearl Valeria (Couch) Walton. She married Harold Lonnie Harper, June 15, 1941, in Grand Prairie, Texas. He preceded her in death September 21, 1981. They were longtime residents of Cleburne before moving to Katy, Texas. She is survived by two sons, Judge Lon Harper, of Houston and Kenneth Harper and wife, Barbara Boyd Harper, of Los Angeles, California; one grandson, Austin C. Harper, of Los Angeles, California; one brother, Merle Walton and wife, Betty of
