Oleta Loree Fine Wallen

Cleburne–Graveside services for Oleta Loree Fine Wallen, 89, of Cleburne, will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 19, 2003, at Rose Hill Cemetery, Cleburne, with Rev. Landy Senter officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, Tuesday at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home, of Cleburne. Mrs. Wallen, known as “Honey Mother” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, was born November 17, 1913, in Waxahachie, Texas and died August 16, 2003, in Fort Worth. She was a devoted wife and mother excelling at homemaking and being a secretary for the family business. She spent many years teaching Sunday School for the pre-school and junior classes, teaching Vacation Bible School, directing and teaching Royal Ambassadors and Girls Auxilliary. In later years she was a member of the Mary Martha Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. GlennWallen, in 1978; mother, Mary Adoline Webb Fine; father, Albert Ross Fine; brothers, James Fine and Ross Fine; sisters, Johnnie Lee Oakley, Marie Arnold and Vashti Fine and daughter-in-law, Judy Carol Wallen. She is survived by one son, Robert Conrad Wallen, of Richardson; daughter, Jacquelyn Marie Durrett and husband, Larry Keith, of Jacksonville, Texas; grandson, Bryan Conrad Wallen and wife, Shelly, of Cleburne; granddaughter, Jessica Elizabeth Wallen, of Richardson; grandson, Kenneth Glenn Durrett and wife, Jaime, of Jacksonville, Texas; grandson, Drew Bowen Durrett and wife, Ashley, of Jacksonville, Texas; two great-granddaughters, Autumn DeNae and Amber Loree Wallen; three great-grandsons, Bowen Lake, Bentley Keith and Drew Boston Durrett; sisters-in-law, Lenna Nell Fine, of Cleburne and Edwinna N. Harrison, of Joshua and numerous nieces and nephews.
