Orvie L. Beck

Godley–Orvie L. Beck, 76, of Godley, lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, February 4, 2004, in Cleburne. Memorial services for Mr. Beck will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 8, 2004 at the First Baptist Church of Keller, 225 Keller Pkwy, Keller, Texas, with Dr. David W. King of Marshall, Texas officiating. Orvie was born June 10, 1927, in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Oscar and Bertha Beck. He was a former resident of Keller, Texas for twenty-six years and a member of the First Baptist Church, of Keller. He is survived by three brothers, W. D. Beck and wife, Nina, of Godley, Robert Beck, of Roxton, Texas and Wallace Ray Beck and wife, Marilyn, of Pensacola, Florida; eleven nieces and nephews; twenty-five great nieces and nephews and sixteen great-great nieces and nephews.
