FORT WORTH — Paola Gordon Zinnecker, 86, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday in Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Paola was born June 22, 1925, in Rome, Italy. A professor, she retired from teaching from the University of Texas at Tyler. Paola was a lifelong animal lover. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and teacher and will be greatly missed. Survivors: Sons, Clayton Zinnecker, Alan Williams and wife, Tanya, and Derek Williams and wife, Maryanne; daughters, Susana Williams and Karen Burk and husband, Brian; grandchildren, Katharine, Holly, Samantha and Diana; and two great-grandchildren.
