Patricia Sue (Grandmaison) Chapman, 78, of Rowlett, Texas, passed away on March 26, 2026, in Rockwall, Texas.
She was born to Gabriel and Vida Grandmaison on April 12,1947, in Bay City, Michigan. She attended and graduated from East Nashville High. School in Nashville, Tennessee. Her first place of employment was at Southern Bell as a telephone operator in Nashville. She was a long-time resident of Texas where she had a lengthy career at Texas Instruments as an administrative assistant. She was known to be a very hard worker with a strong work ethic. Patricia was very outgoing and never met a stranger. She loved to craft and decorate for the holidays and Christmas was her favorite holiday to decorate for and she did it up right. The holidays were always exciting for her because her home was the family gathering place and she loved her some family time! Her "treat me time" was taking a ride up to the casino and playing her favorite slots! She loved playing the slot machines so much she bought four for the house!
Patricia is preceded in death by her husband Gerald "Gary" Chapman, her parents Gabriel and Vida Grandmaison, brothers Dale Grandmaison, Donald "Don" Grandmaison, Dennis "Mike" Grandmaison, sister Linda Butler, and Grandson Matthew "Matt" Pippin.
She is survived by her son Michael Pippin (Jose Matamoros) of Krum, Texas, daughters Michelle Pippin (Kerri Reffitt) of Rowlett, Texas, and Ashley Schulz (Robert Schulz) of Sachse, Texas; three grandchildren Ashley Bush, Joshua "Josh" Pippin, and Austin Schulz; two great grandchildren; two nieces, one nephew; and her granddogs. Prior to her death she was cared for by the doctors, nurses, therapists, and staff of Beacon Harbor Healthcare and Rehabilitation of Rockwall, Texas.
Patricia will be missed by family, friends, and all who knew her.
