Peggy June Moore

FORT WORTH — Peggy Moore, 74, formerly of Cleburne, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014. Graveside service: 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, in Rosehill Cemetery, Cleburne. Memorials: American Heart Association or American Cancer Society. She was born Dec. 4, 1939, in Cordell, Okla., to Clarence “Buck” and Irene Belle Scarberry Moore. She was a graduate of Alvarado High School. After working for Dr. Joe Peters in Alvarado, she went to work for Kimbro Medical Center in Cleburne, where she served as administrative secretary for many years. After Kimbro Clinic closed, she worked for The Church of the Holy Comforter, in Cleburne, in the same capacity until she was forced to retire due to her health. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jerry. Survivors: Sister-in-law, Sharon Moore; nieces, Dara Newton and husband, Richard, and Mandy Moore and Michael Clayton; nephew, Jerry Michael Moore and wife, Liz; and many great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
