Penny Lee Isreal

Penny Lee Isreal (Stout) was called home to the Lord on August 5, 2023, after a short illness, in Fort Worth. She was born on October 28, 1947, in Wichita Falls, TX. Penny was preceded in death by her parents Betty (Barney) Broyles and Lee J. Stout, her sister Gwen Stout, and nephew David Austin Stout. Penny is survived by her loving children Stephen (Karen), Charles (Lisa), Zeke (Bri), and Rosalyn (Josh), her siblings David (Vickie) Stout, Betty Ann Kirby, and Jerry Miller, as well as 13 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Penny was a resident of The Hills Nursing Home in Decatur, TX. Throughout Penny’s journey, she consistently showed kindness and selflessness, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of everyone fortunate enough to cross path. Like the time Penny had a job at the YMCA while she was attending high school and used what she got paid to buy Betty Ann, her younger sister, a Barbie bed for her Barbie doll. She always thought of others. Penny’s boundless generosity knew no bounds. She possessed a remarkable ability to identify the needs of others and offer support without hesitation. From lending a listening ear to providing a helping hand, she tirelessly gave of her time and energy to uplift those around her. She was a daughter, a sister, a mother, a wife, and a friend. A celebration of Penny’s life will be held in Wichita Falls, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8878, on September 2nd at 2:00 pm
