Phil Loren Myers

Phil Loren Myers, 81, of Granbury, TX died peacefully on May 31, 2019 in Ft. Worth, TX. Phil was born on January 23, 1938 in Garden City, KS to Gilford and Wilma Myers. Phil was preceded in death by his wife Donna ‘Daylene’, his parents and his brother Kurt. Phil is survived by his children Loren and his wife Michelle of Granbury, TX, Darren and his husband Martin Conde of New Orleans, LA and Dale of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by his brothers: Ray and his wife Kim of Sacramento, CA and Evan and his wife Elinor of Kansas City, MO. Phil will be missed by many other relatives and friends, including but not limited to, his dear friend and companion Judy Truly. Phil was an Army veteran and a pilot for Braniff Airways until it’s demise in 1982 when Phil became an entrepreneur. He loved fishing and Canasta and had a passion for foreign currencies. An open house Celebration of Life memorial gathering will be held at the home of Loren and Michelle Myers at 5229 Wedgefield Road, Granbury, TX on Saturday, July 13th from 12Noon to 4PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in his name.
