CROWLEY — Phillip Donald Farmer Sr. went to his heavenly reward Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011. Phil was born to Walter P. Farmer and Nancy Jane Land Farmer on Sept. 10, 1932, in the small town of America, Okla. He grew up on a farm in southeastern Oklahoma. He was the youngest of seven children. Phillip married Flora Harmon on Aug. 24, 1951, in Midland. Survivors: His wife and best friend for 60 years, Flora; their children, Phillip Jr., James, Sharon and Paul; and 13 grandchildren.
