In Loving Memory of Randal Ray Goforth

January 2, 1962 – October 11, 2026

Randal Ray Goforth, a beloved husband, father, Pawpaw, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on October 11, 2026, in Arlington, Texas, at the age of 64.

Randal was a wonderful man with the biggest heart. He was the kind of person who would give anyone the shirt off his back without a second thought. He had a heart of gold and loved his family like no other. His family meant everything to him, and there was nothing more important to him than his children and his precious grandbabies.

Dad loved to fish, enjoyed gambling, and loved sitting back with a cold Budweiser. He enjoyed the simple things in life and, most of all, the time he spent with the people he loved. He was generous, kindhearted, and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He had a special way of making the people around him feel loved, and his love for his family was something truly unforgettable.

To his children, he was Dad. To his grandchildren, he was their beloved Pawpaw. To his wife, he was a loving husband and lifelong companion. He was a man whose heart was bigger than words could describe, and the love he gave his family will continue to live on through every memory, every story, and every life he touched.

Randal leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and will miss him more than words can ever express.

He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Goforth; his four children, Shelby Goforth, Randal Scott Goforth and his wife, Alyssa Cantrell Goforth, Amanda Fagan and her husband, Brandon Fagan, and Sarah Goforth; his brother, Kenneth Duane Goforth; his sisters, Vickie Meggs, Nisey Johnson, and Pam Goforth; and his ten beloved grandchildren, Kirsten Hudson, Dakota Bridges, Logan Goforth, Kenzi Gentry, Savannah Fagan, Dylan Goodman, Zoey Goodman, Georgia Fagan, Bryson Fagan, and Kayleigh Batchelor.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Earl Goforth; his mother, Martha Sue Goforth; his sister, Deborah Sue Brooks; his sister-in-law, Becky Goforth; his mother-in-law, Shirley Chapin; his brother-in-law, Rodney Chapin; and his uncles, Bobby Goforth and Earl Goforth.

Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in knowing that the love he gave us will never leave. His legacy lives on through his children and his ten precious grandbabies, who will forever carry a piece of their Pawpaw in their hearts. The memories he created and the love he shared will remain with his family for generations to come.

There will never be another man quite like Randal. His place in our family can never be filled, and he will forever be remembered for his generous heart, his love for his family, and the countless memories that made him who he was.

Rest peacefully, Daddy.

We hope you knew just how deeply you were loved. We will miss your voice, your beautiful baby blue eyes, your presence, and all the little things that made you who you were. We would give anything for one more hug, one more conversation, and one more day with you. We hope you’re somewhere peaceful, casting a fishing line, enjoying a cold Budweiser, and watching over all of us until we meet again.

You may be gone from our sight, Daddy, but you will never be gone from our hearts. You will forever be our Dad and their beloved Pawpaw. Your love will live on in all of us, today, tomorrow, and for the rest of our lives.

We love you always and forever. Until we meet again. ❤
