Ray Dean Long

HALTOM CITY — Ray Dean Long, 85, a loving and kind man, peacefully passed away Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, in Fort Worth where he joyfully ascended into heaven and was reunited with his beloved wife and family.        Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Monday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Final resting place: Caddo Cemetery, Joshua. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.        He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Bell Long; wife of 52 years, Margarett Long; three sisters, Berneda Roberts, Loreda Walker and Ada Linehan; one brother Delbert Long; and a granddaughter, April Long.        Survivors: Loving daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Neal Brandt; daughter, Janet Fitzgerald; sons, Larry and Robert Long; sister, Nora McCoy; brother, Eddie Long; six grandchildren; and 14 great- grandchildren.
