Ray Marty Bowman

Ray Marty Bowman, 60, passed from this world on Thursday, April 23, 2015. Ray Martin, named after his Grandfather, Ray A. Martin, was known to most as “Marty”. He was born to Ina and Fred Bowman on July 10, 1954 in Port Hueneme, California. A Celebration of Life Remembrance will be held @ 1:30 pm, Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Burleson Recreation Ctr. (The Brick), 550 N.W. Summercrest Blvd., Burleson, Texas 76028. Marty was residing in Burleson, Texas and working at Executive Security in Grand Prairie. In his younger days, Marty liked camping and riding motorcycles. He loved his Harley and riding with his brothers and friends who shared his passion. Some of his favorite past times were participating in the Scottish gatherings, fireworks, sunsets, watching his dog Mollie play, sharing the evening with Darlene, as well as time with his grandkids. He dearly enjoyed telling stories and always had a ready smile or a kind word. He was described as “friend” by most who knew him. He loved to laugh and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors: Wife, Darlene; brother, Paul Bowman of Hawaii; nephews, Mike Kelly, TimWorley; godchildren, Sarica, Arianne, Hunter and Wyatt; step-children Kandi and Randy; and grandchildren, Jared, Jaxon, Lauryn, Audrey and Caroline.
