Reid Rankin

Keene–Funeral services for Reid Rankin, 92, of Keene will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, December 7, 2003 at the Keene Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Keene Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6-7 PM, Saturday, December 6, 2003, at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home, Cleburne. Mr. Rankin, a retired chef for Loma Linda University Hospital, in Loma Linda, California, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2003, in Fort Worth. He was born November 23, 1911 in Kosoma, Oklahoma, the son of George Reid and Fanna Mae (Beauchamp) Rankin, Sr. He married Rubye Freeman, May 25, 1938. She preceded him in death November 2, 2002. He was a member of the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church. He is survived by one brother, Robert Rankin, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; nephew, Clinton Roberts, of Cleburne and a host of other nieces and nephews.
