Burleson, TX Richard B. O’Dell, 65, went home to be with the Lord, His Savior, on Friday morning, December 28, 2018 in Burleson, TX. Richard was predeceased by his parents, Byrd and Ruby O’Dell. He is survived by his one and only, his wife, Janis Kay O’Dell. His grandson, his boy, Ean O’Dell, his daughter and son-in-law, Katy and Carey Tatum, granddaughter Addison, and grandson Carter, of Burleson, TX. Daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Jon Leeth, grandsons Gavin, Paxton and Kylan, of Mustang, OK. Daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Shaun Ray, of Burleson, TX. His brother and sister-in-law Curt and Bobby Dickson of Abilene, TX. Nieces Sherry and Trissa, nephews Kyle and Carl and their respective families. Richard, Rick, Opa, or most recently, Santa Claus Rick, was an honest man (just ask his buddy Monty McNair), a friendly man, recognized in his community for his warm smile that beamed from behind his big white beard. He was loved dearly and will be tremendously missed by his family and his many friends. Services will be 10 am Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Burleson Church of Christ, 1150 NW John Jones Dr. Burleson, TX.
