Richard M. Mayfield, Jr.

Richard M. Mayfield, Jr. died on April 4, 2022 in Weatherford, Tx. Richard graduated with an Architectural degree from Texas Tech. He worked with many local architects as an independent architect in Fort Worth, Texas as well as taught at UT Arlington and TCU. He is survived by his wife, Virginia L. T. Mayfield, two step-children, Quentin and Celeste Tate and one grandchild, Alan Shrum. Also, his sister, Joyce Minter and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life will be held at Couts UMC in Weatherford. Donations may be made to the Church, Couts UMC; Salvation Army; Methodist Children’s Home; or Center of Hope in Weatherford.
