Robert Andrew Hasty

BURLESON — Robert "Bob" Hasty, an attorney, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at 2:20 p.m.        Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Burleson, 317 W. Ellison. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson.        Bob was born March 17, 1947, in Fort Worth. He was a Fort Worth police officer for a time, with an undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas and law degree from the University of Texas. Upon passing the State Bar, he was a staff attorney for CLEAT (Combined Law Enforcement Association of Texas). For the past several years he practiced law in Burleson.        Survivors: Beloved wife of 41 years, Kathie Hasty; son, Stephen Lee Hasty; grandchildren, Megan and Emma Hasty; mother, Dera Burdine; stepfather, Jesse Burdine; brothers, Tommy Hasty Jr. and wife, Diane, Danny Wayne Hasty and wife, Shellia, and Paul Hasty; and numerous nieces and nephews.
