In Loving Memory of Robert Arthur Allen Sebastian

Robert Arthur Allen Sebastian, age 72, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 18th, 2025, after a long illness.

Born on December 2nd, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois, Bob was the first-born son of Arthur and Joanne Sebastian. He graduated from Southwest High School in 1969 and later earned his degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. Bob worked many years overseas and in the States as an accountant for the Army Air Force Exchange Service. For a time, he also worked in real estate for John Utsey in Fort Worth.

Bob was an avid reader and the family’s go-to person for trivia. He also loved sports and could rattle off sports statistics from seemingly every sport. He could, and did, talk sports with his brothers, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews, and really, anyone. One of his best sports days was when his beloved Chicago Cubs finally won the World Series.

He loved watching Jeopardy, working crossword puzzles and reading the newspaper cover-to-cover. He was also a good card player and spent hours playing bridge and pinochle with his family.

Bob is survived by his brother and best friend, Steve Sebastian and his wife Karen; his brother Kevin Sebastian and his wife Deby; his sister Theresa Edgar and her husband Darrell; his sister Julie Sebastian Coe and her husband Adrian, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Larry Sebastian.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 4, at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Chapel Bible Church in Benbrook, 6610 Southwest Blvd.

The family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses and caretakers who took care of Bob over the last couple of years.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
