Ronald George Turner

Ronald George Turner, 63, of Fort Worth, went home to be with the Lord on March 27, 2014. He married his college sweetheart, Doris Batty on August 14, 1971. They pastored two Assemblies of God churches and worked at a Christian Counseling Center before coming home to Christ Church in Fort Worth. Ron passionately served the Lord and others. He loved hunting, fishing, projects, baking, his grandkids, and helping people. Ron is survived by his spouse Doris; three daughters: Dawn and David Burke, Rebecca and Robyn; and three grandchildren: David Jr., Noah and Chloe Burke. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Christ Church to further Ron’s favorite community service projects. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5, at 10:00 AM, at Christ Church in Fort Worth.
