Ronald "R.T." Kiesling

Ronald “R.T.” Kiesling passed away February 21, 2016 at age 63. Services will be held on Thursday March 10th at 3:00 p.m. At Mayfield Kiser Funeral home 12301 South Freeway. He graduated from Burleson High School in 1972 and  began his career with Winn Dixie as a sacker for what was then known as “Buddies”. He joined the Burleson volunteer Fire Department in 1974 and was elected as lieutenant in 1988, a position that he held when he retired. He was with the department for 28 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents Ruby and Fred Kiesling and two sisters Barbara Maley and Carla Kiesling.  He was survived by his wife of 38 years Darlene, daughter Julie Kiesling Guhl and son Kenneth Kiesling.  Five grandchildren, one great grandchild, two sisters Sharon Mccomas and Renee Griffin, two brothers Robert Kiesling and John Kiesling and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents Ruby and Fred Kiesling and two sisters Barbara Maley and Carla Kiesling.
