Ronald William Heiser

Ronald William Heiser, formerly of Waukegan, Illinois passed away January 2,2025 at home in North Richland Hills, Texas at the age of 75. Born December 4,1949 in Waukegan, Illinois he was the son of the late John and Ann Heiser. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Ann Heiser, and Sister Kathleen (Ori) Clendening. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran, that went on to serve his country working Civil Service as a Mechanic, then Supervisor of Maintenace at Fort Sheridan, Illinois. He retired at age 50 and moved to Texas. He was a Past Commander and Life member of VFW Post #1293 Waukegan, Illinois. He was a Jack of all trades mastering most of them. He enjoyed fixing things, Gardening, Cruising, and his family and friends. He is Survived by his wife of 55 years Darlene of North Richland Hills, Tx. Daughter Jamie Heiser of North Richland Hills, Tx. Son Matthew Heiser (Toni) of Lake Villa, Illinois, Two Granddaughters Lani and Rilee Heiser of Lake Villa, Illinois. Sister Janet (Turchin) Kahrs of Larosa, Louisiana and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be donated to your favorite charity.
