Rosa Diaz De Miranda

Rosa Diaz de Miranda, 94, a resident of Fort Worth for 30 years, died Monday, October 24, 2016. She was born on December 19, 1921, in Havana, Cuba. Rosa received a Law degree from the University of Havana in 1943 and married fellow law graduate Carlos Manuel Miranda on 1949. She had three children: Carlos M. Miranda, María Rosa Miranda, and María Miranda Curl and six grandchildren: Miguel, Iván, David, Jody, María Elisa, and Kara. After retiring, Rosa volunteered her time to: Catholic Charities, Dispute Resolutions of Tarrant County, Allied Community of Tarrant (ACT), Interfaith Institutions, and teaching English. The family will greet friends from 11:00am – 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home, 12301 South Freeway, Fort Worth, TX 76028, 817.568.8836.   Donations to your charity of choice are also welcome in lieu of flowers.
