BURLESON — Ruby Summers Glosup, beloved mother and grandma, shuffled off her mortal coil on Sunday, October 23, 2011 joining her husband, Newman, who yielded to the whips and scorns of time 6 years ago. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson; Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Even at 83 her candle burned too briefly, and we few, we happy few who loved her look forward to meeting her again on that immortal plain. survivors, children; Gwen Archer, Max, Tim, Gordon, Eric and David Glosup and their spouses; sisters, JoAnn Hicks and Betty Pierce; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
