Ruby J. Glenn (Cline) died peacefully in Lewisville TX on February 20, 2017 at the age of 87, after relocating from Elgin, Illinois in August 2016. Ruby is survived by her 2 daughters, Terri Mounsey of Lewisville, TX and Mary Holley of Denton, TX., 3 grandchildren Jennifer McCorkle of Kelso, Wash., Matthew Mounsey of Plano, TX., and Michele Barfknect of Krum, TX., 4 great grandchildren Austin and Arianna Harvey of Kelso, Washinton., and Addyson and Jaxon Zimmerman of Krum, TX., and several nieces and nephews and their children. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents Dennis Cline and Trella Marsh, and her brother Dennis Cline Jr. (Buck). Ruby was born on October 9, 1929, in Carrier Mills, Illinois. She attended and graduated from Carrier Mills High School in 1947. She attended Baylor University in Waco, TX. for one year. She went to work for the State of Ill. in Elgin and retired in the early 70’s. She returned to college and achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and worked at Apostolic Christian Resthaven in Elgin before retiring after 10 years of service. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Elgin where she was very involved in her Sunday School class and Prime Time singles group, and a member of the Women’s Southern Baptist Association. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
