Ruby Jones

Joshua–Funeral services for Ruby Jones, 89, of Joshua, will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, October 30, 2003, at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home Chapel, of Cleburne. Burial will be in Covington Cemetery. Ruby Jones, a retired restaurant owner and homemaker, passed away October 28, 2003, in Fort Worth. She was born March 13, 1914, in Cherokee County, North Carolina. She was a member of Covington Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Mattie (Thomasson) Fair, her husband, Robert Lee Jones, December 7, 1991; one daughter, Peggy Dillman, one son, Edward Morris; three sisters and one brother. She is survived by, four brothers, Carl, Vernon, Edgar and Alvin Fair, one sister, Caroline Hogg, grandchildren, Marsha Miholovich and three others; two great grandchildren, Marshall Barton and Lindsey Miholovich and many other loved ones. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or Cherokee Children’s Home.
