Sandra Kay Devosha, age 81, of Trophy Club, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on May 16, 2026, at The Carlyle at Stonebrook Parkin Southlake, Texas. She was born on April 25, 1945, in Baxter Springs, Kansas.
Sandra loved her family and friends. She touched the lives of many people with her generosity, always thinking of others and finding that perfect trinket to give to a loved one. She loved the company of all her family and friends. She was notoriously known for inviting everyone she knew to her home for game night – every night of the week. When she was able, Sandra and her husband loved cooking big meals and inviting everyone over for big suppers to include not only her family, but as many neighbors and friends that popped in to visit at dinnertime. Everyone was always welcome to eat at her table. Sandra was a huge fan of Elvis Presley, Mark Lowry and The Gaithers. She was a waitress for 25 years in Kansas City, Kansas, before retiring due to health issues. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, generosity, and cherished memories and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Bernard Devosha; her four children: Sandra Conklin (Carl), Randall Crawford (Kelly), Jamie Israelow (Steve), and Bridgette Lusby (David), adopted daughter/niece, Arletta Randles (Wanda); eight grandchildren: James Conklin, Jeremy Conklin, Chad Conklin, Branden Crawford (Janet), Austin Crawford, Cody Crawford, Miles Israelow and Paris Lusby; eight great-grandchildren: Alan Conklin, Jaidyn Conklin, Carsyn Conklin, Tristyn Conklin, Branden Conklin, Kaleah Conklin, Everleigh Crawford and Timothy Crawford; brother, Tom Smith (Vickie); sisters-in-law: Mary Smith, Lana Smith, and Vickie Smith; numerous nephews and nieces, who all loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Louis Smith, Ruth Virginia Smith and Marvin Smith; siblings: Lois Jean Elliott, Robert Dean Smith, Gary Smith, Marvin Wayne Smith; brothers-in-law: Elmer Elliott, Joe Devosha; sisters-in-law Connie Smith and Bernice Seddon.
